Jay Frisco, NCARB

As a proud recipient of both a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Louisiana, and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Oklahoma, Jay’s passion for learning has never stopped.  He’s worked for some of the country’s biggest firms and has a strong passion for and understanding of the project delivery process and its myriads of components.  Strong interests in building envelopes, technical design, adaptive and conversion projects, and a knack for working with clients and contractors to form lasting relationships really have positioned him as an integral project team member.

Jay’s career is as diverse as his personal interests.  He’s spent nearly 34 years in the architectural profession working on projects in healthcare, commercial, multi-family/mixed use, residential, industrial, military, hospitality, and big box retail market sectors and recently been quite engaged in existing building renovations and hurricane repair assessments and repairs.  During his 8+ years with the firm, when he’s not dealing with specifications or day to day project fires, Jay reviews AQ’s plethora of projects at all stages before we hit the “deliver” button.  His breadth of knowledge, project experience, and keen eye for uncovering hidden issues is one if his most valuable assets.

When not tirelessly redlining projects, or enjoying his favorite season of horror movies, Jay is a busy single dad of two teenagers. He’s usually found at the fields locally or across the southern states with his daughter assisting her with her push to become the next goalkeeper for the US Women’s National Soccer Team or balancing equal time helping his son with his art endeavors, video editing, Youtubing and all things Kaiju. You might even see those two at Godzilla Fest should you choose to attend.
