Kyle Libersat, AIA
Architect | Firm Associate | Studio Lead
Kyle is one of the firm associates and is also Healthcare Studio lead. He ensures that quality and consistency are carried through our work by managing teams of design professionals to carry out the client’s vision. His role in the office includes consulting with clients, managing project budgets, and creating distinctive designs. Kyle is also one of the firm’s estimating and BIM leaders, assisting in 3D computer modeling and material takeoff cost estimating for AQ’s projects. His building type portfolio includes educational, healthcare, government, multi-family residential, and manufacturing facilities. He thrives on the technical aspects of projects, particularly on the operations of facilities and how architecture can support unique owner needs.
Kyle joined the AQ team in 2013 and holds both a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is also a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professional.
When Kyle isn’t in the office, he’s usually busy enjoying time with his family or indulging in his hobbies. He and his wife, along with their two energetic boys and their new pup, fill their weekends with a variety of activities. From attending robotics competitions to cheering at karate matches, Kyle’s always on the go with his kids. When they do get a break, the family loves to unwind with board games.
Kyle also has a passion for woodworking and is often found in his workshop, crafting his latest project. In addition to his creative pursuits, Kyle enjoys a game of beach volleyball with his other coworkers, where his competitive spirit shines through.
"What I love about architecture is that every time we design, it’s for the first time. Every building is a prototype of a solution to our client’s challenges."
