Dale Wood

A graduate of LSU, Dale has been part of the AQ team since 2004. A native of Chalmette, Louisiana in St. Bernard Parish, Dale has experience in Healthcare and Educational architecture but now leads the Commercial and Civic studios with a focus on Multifamily and Hospitality.

Dale appreciates architecture’s ability to change and impact the spaces around us. He believes that engaging a neighborhood with new architecture and exciting people with the spaces they occupy is one of the most rewarding aspects of design. Architecture can often have an aspect of problem solving that challenges a designer to embody a client’s needs in unforeseen ways. The ability to create a partnership with a client is a critical component of successful architecture.

In his free time, Dale enjoys playing music, performing in local theater and scouting with Pack 11 and Troop 11. None of this would be possible without the love and support from his wife and four children.
