West Regional Library

This state-of-the-art library in Scott, Louisiana, was designed by AQ Studios to be an inviting space for the community and to incorporate several design elements inspired by the region. Given the area’s long history in agriculture, the exterior design incorporates forms inspired by agricultural materials and tools.

Designed with young patrons in mind, the library embraces and encourages learning through colorful elements, designated learning spaces, and the creative use of shape and light. Large, colorful windows bring in natural light and create opportunities for those inside to connect with the landscape outdoors.

This library includes conference rooms, public meeting spaces, children’s areas, and spaces for technology. These spaces allow the library to grow with the needs of its community and serve it well into the future.
