The Riverview Luxury Apartments adaptive reuse project transforms a historic 13-story circa 1982 office tower in downtown Mobile into a 165-unit modern residential community. The development reimagines one of the city’s tallest buildings as a vibrant mixed-use space that will contribute to the continued revitalization of Mobile’s urban core.
The prominent landmark along the I-10 corridor will soon contain 119 one-bedroom and 44 two-bedroom units featuring luxury vinyl tile flooring, quartz countertops, and exposed concrete ceilings in living areas. Residential amenities will include a community room, fitness center, pet wash, package/mail room, and 24/7 security.
At the street level, the design creates a white-box commercial space intended for a future restaurant tenant. The existing double-height porte-cochere will be enclosed and enhanced with a glass wall system that can be folded completely open, expanding the commercial footprint. A private terrace will be created for residents to enjoy, which will be ideal for viewing Mobile’s iconic Mardi Gras parades. A fourth-floor terrace with a dog run and a new bridge connection to the adjacent parking garage will enhance resident access and shared outdoor space.
