Ochsner Medical Center- Rothschild Pediatric Clinic

This project marks the beginning of a series of renovations aimed at enhancing Ochsner Pediatric Clinics. The renovation of the Ochsner Pediatric Rothschild Clinic focuses on improving functionality and aesthetics in a 2,575-square-foot area. Key updates include new nurse and physician workstations, a dedicated staff lounge, scale alcoves, a mother’s room, and two ADA-compliant restrooms. Additionally, the project introduces finish upgrades throughout the building.

The redesigned waiting room incorporates new flooring that intuitively guides patients and parents to reception, with designated areas for well and sick patient waiting. A striped branding wall behind the reception desk prominently identifies the building as part of the Ochsner Pediatric network. Calming shades of blue are used in scale areas, nurse stations, and exam and consult rooms to create a soothing and playful environment, while green accents along the entrance wall assist with wayfinding to exam rooms. The updated floor plan increases the openness between patients and their care team, enhancing workflow efficiency by centering staff-oriented spaces within the layout.

This renovation prioritizes patient comfort, wayfinding, and operational efficiency, setting a standard for future clinic updates.
