National Oilwell Varco T3 Masterplan and Strategic Thinking

A local energy sector client approached AQ Studios along with a local design-builder to master plan the expansion and improvements to their existing facility. An administration building, along with several large operations buildings containing heavy-duty cranes, this facility would need to be planned to accommodate their current workload and staff while also looking forward, ensuring that the facility would serve them well for the years of growth to come.

Through many coordination meetings with the owners and the facility’s managers, the design-build team was able to produce a layout that allows for the efficient organization of staff and products while growing the company’s brand and status in the community. The operations portion of the facility created an efficient layout that accommodated all of the safety elements and expansion possibilities that the owner desired.
